My Waist Is The Smallest It's Ever Been!

If you're anything like me, you are probably in a constant battle to shrink your waist size and tighten your mid-section. This has always been a major focus of mine, as nothing says bikini body like a small waist and hourglass figure. Over time, I've trialled and tested SO MANY different approaches in my quest to tighten my waist, and have found that I've never made more progress than I have in the last few months. There is no better feeling than seeing positive progress, so I wanted to share what has been working not only for me, but also for my clients. Have a look at the changes these ladies have made their mid-sections! As you can see above, it's possible to make some huge changes in a relatively small amount of time. These three BBR babes have completely transformed their shape by tightening their waist, toning their core, lifting their booty's, and sculpting their legs. So, what's the secret? Firstly, it's important to know that there is no secret. These changes are the result of hard work and these ladies staying committed to my recommended workouts and personalised nutrition plans. We all have different bodies and I believe it's crucial to follow the right plan in order to make the changes you're looking for. You would be surprised by the huge changes you can make in only a few weeks when following the right protocol for your body! There are 4 main areas that I believe have contributed to the most significant changes in my body; 1. Intermittent Fasting (IF) Intermittent fasting is more a way of ‘eating’ as opposed to a way of ‘dieting’. I say this because IF doesn’t change WHAT you eat; or HOW you eat; just WHEN you eat. I introduced IF to my routine about 8 months ago, and I haven't looked back. My IF window is 16 hours, which means I have my last meal at 7pm, and first meal after I train the next morning at 11am. This is my personal preference and what I feel is most effective for my body. We all have different schedules and our fasting windows may vary. Adjusting my macronutrients I can't stress enough the importance of following a nutritional plan that is designed for YOUR body. Nutrition holds all the cards when it comes to changing your body and is almost always the reason that you either are or aren't getting your desired results. Personally, I have lowered my protein intake and increased my carbohydrates which has had an amazing response with my body. Being more in tune with my body Listening to your body is ultimately the most effective way to find what works for you! Ignoring our body signals can often do more harm than good. If you're exhausted, it's often a good sign that rest will be better for you than pushing yourself too hard. If you're starving, chances are that some more of the right food will be better for you than avoiding food all together. Over time, you will build an understanding of your body that will help you to achieve your goals.
